- ADMISSION QUALIFICATION (ELIGIBILITY):
The candidate seeking admission to the Diploma in any stream must have passed 10th class or its equivalent in aggregate as well as individual subject Mathematics, Science from any recognized Board/Council.
- Lateral Entry to SECOND Year (THIRD Semester):
The Candidate who has successfully completed 10+2 with subject as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or 12th Technical or 2 Year ITI from NCVT Board / Council.
The program duration for Diploma in Engineering will be Three years comprising of six semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within six years from the session of enrolment. Accordingly, program duration for Lateral Entry Students will be 2 years comprising of four semesters but the candidate will have to complete the programme within Four Years from the session of enrolment.
- Internal assessment (IA) through assignments with a weightage of 25%.
- Term-end examination having a weightage of 75%.
- Each paper will be of 100 marks.
- Minimum for pass is each course is 40% [In Internal Assessment + Term End Examination.
